Once again I couldn’t keep up with a routine blog post so here it finally is. A few months late but nonetheless, I am taking time to actually sit down and write. I feel like I always say its been crazy busy but seriously- its been CRAZY BUSY!! The next time I think I am “busy”, or overwhelmed, I will remember trying to run a successful business, launch a new and huge kitchen cabinet painting service, booking furniture 4 months in advance, have a retail store with new product launches and keeping up with new trends, going from 3 to 9 dogs with about a weeks notice, throwing my house on the market (with 9 dogs to pack up every time there is a showing!) selling our house and buying an acreage AND then throw in the decision to move our store at the same time. F’n crazy and at times I was super overwhelmed and exhausted but we got through all the packing and moving!!

Now that we are settled at our new house and the new store location, its time for hockey season and coming up on our busiest season at the store- Christmas!! We are once again hosting private workshops – dates are booking up so message us to guarantee the date you want before they are all gone. This year we have new projects, a new space, and minimal dates available- hence hockey season has started so dates had to be planned around my son’s games and tournaments after all, he is my most important job.

We are in the middle of a kitchen cabinet refinishing project right now and next month is our last kitchen of 2022 AND our 2 year anniversary of Jewels and Jems Furniture Redesigns!! How did 2 years go by so fast??!! Hmmmm maybe I should add a party to the calendar….
