Well, its been a while since I made a blog post…..to say we have been busy is an understatement. At the beginning of April we announced a new service in addition to our furniture refinishing- Kitchen cabinet refinishing!!

Last year we had introduced a series of workshops where we discussed how to use Fusion Mineral Paint to paint your own kitchens and we had such a high demand I think we ended up offering 6 FULL classes and still had demand for more!! We also had customers coming in asking if kitchen cabinet painting was something we offered and at the time we were booked solid with furniture refinishing, creative workshops, I still worked a real job (cause this one is fun and not a real job haha) outside of the store and it was Covid so the thought of going into peoples homes was sort of out of the question and just not something we could fit into our schedule.

Fast forward to 2022, I am at the store full time, restrictions have lifted, and the demand for custom cabinet painting has been exciting!!! Some people are scared of painting, don’t have time or patience or the space to tackle a big job like a kitchen and that’s where we come in! We paint everyday so a little paint doesn’t scare us (its only paint right?!) and we have a huge workshop to take the mess out of your space and into ours!

The cost of replacing kitchen cabinets can be hefty and most people don’t have the budget for it but simply painting your dated cabinets can breath new life into your kitchen for a fraction of the cost of replacement. On average painting your cabinets will give you an additional 7-10 years of your cabinets so if you’re not in the market to replace them, painting is a great option.

We have completed 25 in person consultations in the last 6 weeks and are just finishing up our first complete kitchen-refinishing project this week!! {Reveal coming soon!!!} We have 2 spots left for consultations until July and are booking into the fall for kitchen cabinet refinishing and furniture so if you have something you are interested in having us refinish for you, get yourself on the list sooner rather than later…
